Indices Gain In the Morning Trade, Sun Pharma Up By 5.26%

On account of positive global cues Indian market opens on a positive note. The Indian markets are trading higher, with Sensex and NSE Nifty up by 0.46% in today's early morning trade. Nifty is trading up by 27 points to trade at 6724 and the Sensex trades at 22450 up by 107 points.
The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side at morning session today. On the NSE, 2002 shares are trading in gains and 1392 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: Sun Pharma is the top gainer in today’s morning session and is trading higher by 5.26%. It is followed by Hindalco, Bank of Baroda, NMDC and DLF.
Top Nifty Losers: Tech Mahindra is the top loser for today’s morning session and is trading lower by 2.25%. It is followed by HCL Tech, Infosys, ONGC and TCS.
On the sectoral front 12 out of 13 indices are trading in green. Healthcare is the top gainer this morning as it surged by 175 points this morning. It was followed by Metals and Bankex, which were up by 131 points and115 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are up by 69 and 65 points respectively in the morning session.
Global Markets are trading in positives this morning. Hang Seng is trading up by 228 points. Taiwan index is up by 44 points. KOSPI and the Shanghai Composite were trading with nominal gains this morning. However, Nikkei is trading down by 260 points.
Buzzers: Sun Pharmaceutical, stock is up and trades at a day’s high at Rs 620.70 after company announced USD 4 billion merger of Sun Pharma and Ranbaxy.
Nifty Future is trading at 6762 level above its support level which is at 6730.
