Power Finance Corporation (PFC) : The Government of India holds 73.71% stake in the company. PFC is engaged in the business of power sector financing and providing support to develop the power and associated sectors. Through its power financing services, it provides a range of financial products, such as Asset acquisition, Bridge Loan, Buyer's Line of Credit, Corporate Loan, Credit Facility for Purchase of Power, Debt Refinancing etc. PFC stock is trading at a PE ratio of 5.7x.
Cairn India (CIL) : CIL, a Vedanta group company is one of the largest oil & gas exploration and production company in India. It has a portfolio of 9 blocks. Currently, Oil and gas is being produced from Rajasthan, Ravva and Cambay. CIL operates more than 25% of domestic crude oil production market. CIL is trading at a PE ratio of 5.71x.
Reliance Infrastructure (RIL) : RIL is a part of Reliance Group. It is India's largest infrastructure company in terms of market capitalisation. The company is engaged in the business of power generation, transmission and distribution. RIL has presence across three verticals viz. Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Energy and Infrastructure. The company has presence in the construction of roads, metros, airports and real estate. RIL is trading at a PE ratio of 5.96x.
Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) : The Government of Indian holds 66.8% stake in the company and it is a public financial institution. REC is a Navratna company, with its main focus to finance and promote rural electrification projects across the country. Its product list includes interest bearing loans to state electricity boards, state power utilities/state power departments and private sector for all segments of power infrastructure. REC is trading at a PE ratio of 6.14x.
Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) : BHEL is one of the largest power plant equipment manufacturer and engineering company in India in terms of turnover. It business activities includes design, engineering, manufacture, construction, testing, commissioning and servicing of a range of products with main focus on the power sector. BHEL supplies products such as captive power plants, centrifugal compressors, drive turbines, industrial boilers and auxiliaries, waste heat recovery boilers, gas turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, electrical machines, valves etc. BHEL is trading at a PE ratio of 6.82x.
