Markets Trading Strong, Nifty Hovering Near 6800 Mark

Markets opened the first day of the week on a positive note, with major heavyweights gaining in the morning trade. At the present hour Nifty is trading up by 18 points at 6796 points and Sensex is positive by 59 points to trade at 22688. Rupee opened flat at 60.30 against per USD. All the sectoral indices are trading in green, except IT.
Indian markets opened today’s trading session in green. Nifty is trading up by 18 points to trade at 6796 and the Sensex trades at 22688 up by 59 points. Both indices opened up in the range of 0.26%.
The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side in the morning session today. On the NSE, 1978 shares are trading in gains and 1378 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: Maruti Suzuki is the top gainer in today’s morning session and is trading higher by 2.32%. It is followed by PNB, Larsen, Sesa Sterlite and Bank of Baroda.
Top Nifty Losers: Wipro is the top loser for today’s morning session and is trading lower by 5.20%. It is followed by Cairn India, HUL, Ambuja Cements and Asian Paints.
All the sectoral indices are trading in green, except IT. Capital Goods is the top gainer this morning as it surged by 151 points this morning. It was followed by Auto and Bankex, which were up by 108 points and 91 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are up by 78 points and 63 points respectively in this morning session.
Global Market are giving out mixed cues this morning. Hang Seng is showing some strength and trading up by 64 points. Nikkei, is up by 24 points. KOSPI and the Shanghai Composite were trading with nominal loss this morning.
Buzzers: Wipro, stock fell more than 5.35% to trade at Rs 554 after the company announcing Q4FY14 result.
Nifty Future is trading above its support level which is 6770. This is indicating good strength at current level around 6811.
