Volatility In Markets, Indices Turn Red

Indian markets are trading on a extreme note in the mid session as all the sectoral indices have gone in the negative zone. At the present hour the Nifty index is down by 44 points at 6670 and Sensex has lost 136 points to trade at 22337. Capital Goods and Metals have lost more than 200 points in the mid-session trading.
The Indian markets are volatile and trade at flat note in the mid-market trading session. The Nifty index is trading down by 44 points at 6670; Sensex is 136 points lower at 22337. The indices are trading in a range of -0.64%-0.58%.
The advance-decline ratio is on the negative side. On the NSE, 1271 shares are in the green and 2184 shares are in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: GAIL is leading the gainers list so far, up by 2.39%. Dr Reddy’s Labs, Asian Paints, M&M and Power Grid Corp are also in gains.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: DLF is leading the losers list so far down by 8.49%, followed by Sesa Sterlite, Tata Power, BHEL and BPCL.
All sectoral indices have turned red. Capital Goods was the top loser, down by 298 points. Metals lost 223 points. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are down by 192 points and 164 points respectively.
Asian markets are trading on a mixed note from morning trading session. Nikkei is the top gainer so far, up by 15 points. Hang Seng lost 319 points. Taiwan and KOSPI were trading flat, negative.
Buzzer: The stock of DLF has witnessed a continuous fall from the morning session. The stock dipped by 8.49% and made a low of Rs 139.30. It has broken a support at Rs 140. If the stock sustains around this level, it may drop further in the next few trading sessions.
The Nifty is trading around 6700. If it closes above 6700, it may recover further from the current levels.
