Markets Trading On A Flat Note

After a positive opening the markets trimmed the early gains and are currently trading with volatality. Asian markets are trading with a negative bias. Bankex is the biggest loser of the morning trade and is down by more than 100 points. At the present hour the Nifty index is trading down by 30 points at 7372 and Sensex is 126 points at 24679 level.
The Indian markets opened with positive sentiment and is currently witnessing a volatile trade. At present Nifty is trading down by 30 points at 7372 and Sensex down by 126 points at 24679 levels.
The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side in the morning session. On the NSE, 2174 shares are trading in gains and 1338 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: Sesa Sterlite is the top gainer for today’s morning session up by 4.54% followed by Hindalco, Power Grid Corp, Jindal Steel and BPCL.
Top Nifty Losers: ICICI Bank is the top loser for today’s morning session down by 2.05% followed by M&M, ONGC, HDFC Bank and IndusInd Bank.
On the sectoral front, 9 out of 13 sectors are trading on a negative note. Metals index is top gainer of the morning session up by 266 points. Bankex index is down by 156 points. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are trading in positive by 78 points and 57 points respectively.
On the global front, all the Asian shares are trading on negative sentiment. The Hang Seng market is top loser for today’s morning session down by 51 points. Nikkei is down by 27 points. The Taiwan index, KOSPI and Straits Times are also trading on some negative note.
Buzzers: Shree Cements moved up by 4.87%, touching to intraday and 52 week high at 7609.65 and currently trading at Rs 7540.
Nifty supports around 7370 – 7400 level and is currently trading around 7404.
