JSW Steel, belonging to the JSW group, part of the O P Jindal Group, is one of the lowest cost steel producers in the world. The company has reported its crude steel production for July 2014 at 11.13 lac tones, showing a growth of 12% over corresponding month of the previous year.

The production of flat rolled products for July 2014 was reported at 8.95 lac tones as compared to 7.96 lac tones in July 2013, showing a growth of 12%. The production of long rolled products for July 2014 slipped by 7% and was reported at 1.73 lac tones against 1.86 lac tones in July 2013.
