Indices Snaps 3-Day Losing Streak: Sensex, Nifty Close About 1% Up

The Nifty gave a positive start but slipped into negative territory concerns due to the impending slowdown in China, lingering uncertainty in Greece, weakness in oil and the depreciating Indian rupee.
The Nifty gave a positive start but slipped into negative territory concerns due to the impending slowdown in China, lingering uncertainty in Greece, weakness in oil and the depreciating Indian rupee. Later, the Nifty traded in broader range for most part of the day’s trade and found it difficult to rebound due to sustained selling by institutional funds and retail investors.
The advance-decline ratio ended on positive side today. On the NSE Index, 38 stocks closed in green, while 12 stocks ended the in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Yes Bank was the top gainer, up by +8.15%, followed by Tata Motors, VEDL, BPCL, ICICIBANK.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: TATAPOWER was the top loser, down by -6.43%, followed by HDFC, POWERGRID, HCLTECH, and AMBUJACEM.
In today’s trading session all sectors closed with the green mark, except CNX IT sector was looser lose with 0.68 per cent. CNX REALTY was top gainer gain with 6.86%.
The Asian markets were mixed quoted; China's Shanghai Composite drifted down by -244.94 points, while Hong Kong's Hang-Seng gained with +162 point, while Japan's Nikkei was down by -733.98 point.
