The Sensex closed the day in green gaining 32.44 points or 0.187 percentage points to close at 18,238.31. Nifty ends the day at 5486.15 gaining 14.30 points or 0.26 percentage points. Market breadth was positive with 1,847 advances against 1,083 declines on BSE. On the global front, European exports surged the most on record and corporate spending rebounded from a two-year slump in the second quarter, fueling the region’s fastest economic expansion in four years.
