Jubilant Foodworks makes technology partnership with Zippr for better service delivery

Jubilant FoodWorks (JFL) has got into a technology partnership with Zippr. The new partnership will allow Domino’s Pizza consumers to seamlessly share their address during checkout on Domino’s Pizza online ordering platforms.

Zippr is a Hyderabad based startup. Zippr is a new address format that solves the problem of explaining complex addresses in emerging markets through a short code. It is a location management platform that allows users to create,manage and share personal or business locations through a unique code.

Domino’s Pizza users can now simply enter a Zippr code to checkout instead of entering a four line address. The technology integration is going to launch in the Delhi-NCR area and will be rolled out in other cities in the next 15 days. The integration is already active on the Domino’s Pizza’s mobile App and mobile web platforms. The company planned to integrate its services on various platforms including its call center by the end of the year. Further, the technology will enable consumers to give a Zippr over a telephone order instead of explaining an address.

JFL has an expansion plan for FY16 comprising of a target of 150 new Domino’s Pizza and 30 new Dunkin’ Donuts outlets out of which it has launched 83 Domino’s Pizza and 13 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants till date.

JFL's shareholding pattern indicates that FII holdings contracted by 8 basis points to 41.46 per cent and DII holdings contracted by 53 basis points to 3.96 per cent during September 2015 quarter. The share price of the company increased by 5.12 per cent on bourses in early trades and is trading at Rs 1457.4 on intraday basis.
