Day's Digest - Five stocks to watch out on Feb 26

The five stocks that may witness some kind of significant movement on Feb 26 in the markets are: NIIT Technologies; Suzlon Energy; Gateway Distriparks (GDL); Chembond Chemicals; and Tata Elxsi.

a) NIIT Technologies:  NIIT Technologies, a leading global IT solutions provider, successfully implemented its next generation policy and claims administration platform, Navigator at Sompo Japan Canopius Reinsurance AG (SC Re), Sompo Canopius’ Reinsurance subsidiary.

b) Suzlon Energy:  Suzlon won an order of 71.40MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company. The order is for 29 units of S97-120 m hybrid tower; and 5 units of S97-90 m tubular tower with rated capacity of 2.1MW each. The project is to be completed in Kutch, Gujarat by April 2017.

c) Gateway Distriparks (GDL):  Gateway Distripark is in focus as hearing of suspension of one the freight station will be held on February 26, 2016. The Customs Department, Nhava Sheva, have revoked the suspension of Punjab Conware Container Freight Station (CFS) with immediate effect through an interim order.

d) Chembond Chemicals: Chembond Chemicals is in advanced stage of discussion to form a Joint Venture (JV) with a Malaysian Company to serve water treatment market. The company signed a JV agreement with I-Chem Solution Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia, operating in the water treatment solutions business. It would own 51 per cent of the equity in the joint venture with the balance being held by I-Chem Solution Sdn. Bhd.

e) Tata Elxsi:  Tata Elxsi and more companies will be available for trade in F&O from February 26. The list of companies includes Indo Count, PC Jeweller, Granules, Cummins, United Spirits and KPIT Technologies.
