FM in his budget for 2016-17 said that the government has alloted a comprehensive plan for nuclear power generation stating that India is a nation which is endowed with rich natural resources.
FM in his budget for 2016-17 said that the government has alloted a comprehensive plan for nuclear power generation stating that India is a nation which is endowed with rich natural resources. The government will incentivise gas production from deep sea, ultra deep water. This can help Reliance Industries, Cairn Oil and ONGC. In last year’s budget government has alloted Rs 5,900 crore for generation of nuclear power, and carrying out research in atomic energy, while the total money set aside for the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) is Rs 10,912 crore.
