Day's Digest - Five stocks to watch out on March 14

The five stocks that may witness some kind of significant movement on March 14 in the markets are: Suven Life Sciences; Coal India; Tata Steel; Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals; and HSIL.

a) Suven Life Sciences: Suven Life Sciences grabbed patents in China, Eurasia and Hong Kong. These patents are equivalent to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurode generative diseases and are valid through 2032. The stock will be in focus throughout the day.

b) Coal India: Coal India declared interim dividend of Rs 27.4 for every equity share of face value of Rs 10. The share price of the company decreased by 8.37 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 297.45.

c) Tata Steel: Tata Steel will spend Rs 2000 crore to develop the Khondbond mine in Orissa. The company is going to commission its new plant at Kalingnagar. The proposed plants would cater to the raw material needs in near term. The share price of the company will be in focus.

d) Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals: Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals has entered into joint venture (JV) agreement with Belgian company M/s EcoPhos s.a. The company is setting up 2 lakh million tons per annum (MTPA) Di-calcium Phosphate Project in Dahej at a  projected cost of Rs 526 crore.

e) HSIL: HSIL is going to launch a new product ‘Air Coolers’ under the brand name ‘Hindware’ on March 15. On new product launch the company’s share price will be in focus for the whole day.
