Overnight Digest - Stocks to watch out on March 21

The stocks that may witness some kind of significant movements on March 21 in the markets are: Edelweiss Financial Services, JSW Energy, Glaxo SmithKline (GSK), Wockhardt, V-Mart Retail, Goa Carbon.

a) Edelweiss Financial Services :  Edelweiss Financial Services has informed stock exchanges on Friday that credit rating agency CRISIL has assigned the rating of 'CRISIL A1+' to the proposed short term debt issue of Rs 25 billion of the company.

b) JSW Energy: According to a media report Sajjan Jindal led JSW Energy is likely to acquire Naveen Jindal's 1000 megawatt (MW) power plant at Raigarh, known as Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) is trying to monetise assets to pare debt.

c) GSK/Wockhardt: Delhi High Court today put a stay on the ban imposed on some Fixed Dose Combination (FDC) drugs of Glaxo SmithKline and Wockhardt but said action against their sale could be taken in the absence of a valid sale and marketing licence. 

d) V-Mart Retail: V-Mart has informed stock exchanges on Friday that it has opened 123 rd store in Nawada, Bihar. This is the 27 th store in state of Bihar.

e) Goa Carbon: Goa Carbon has informed stock exchanges on Friday that the operation at the company’s Bilaspur plant has been temporarily shut down effective March 18, 2016 on account of the piled up inventory of finished material.
