Mid-Day Stock Watch on March 21

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stocks' movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during rest half of the day.

a) KPR Mill: KPR Mill has plans to double garment capacity. The company is going to expand its daily capacity from 25 MT (million tons) to 50 MT at a cost of Rs 120 crore. It will fund the expansion through internal accruals and debt.

b) IDBI Bank: IDBI Bank is in focus on stake sale. The bank is goinf to raise funds from LIC. The government will reduce stake from the bank to below 50 per cent. The share price of IDBI Bank incerased by 6.03 per cent in early trades and is trading at Rs 70.

c) PVR: Paytm and PVR form strategic on-line movie ticketing relationship. Paytm will sell PVR cinemas movie tickets on its e-commerce platform as a part of its nationwide foray in the on-line movie ticket segment. The company is targeting to sale tickets worth Rs 250 to 300 crore.

d) PTC India Financial Services: PTC India Financial Services sanctioned Rs 1100 crore loans for power sector. The company will provide funds to four projects for renewable sector and two for transmission of power. The stock will be in focus for the rest of the day due to new loan portfolio.

e) BHEL: BHEL commissioned second 270 MW thermal units in Punjab in a month. Earlier the company commissioned first 270 MW thermal units in month of February. It also has 95 per cent share in hydro generating capacity of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). Meanwhile, the share price of the company reduced by 2.28 per cent on bourses in early trades and is trading at Rs 111.95.
