Mid-Day Stock Watch on March 23

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stocks' movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during rest half of the day.

a) Pennar Engineered Building Systems: Pennar Engineered Building Systems has received orders worth Rs 120 crore. The company has received orders from various customers, which includes order from Reliance Jio Infocomm for its 4G tower infrastructure at multiple locations in India.

b) Page Industries: Page Industries’ promoters reduced its stake in the company below 50 per cent. During the current quarter of FY16, promoters Sunder Genomal, Ramesh Genomal and Nari Genomal sold 313440 equity shares i.e. 2.81 per cent equity in several open market transactions.

c) Torrent Pharmaceuticals:  Torrent Pharmaceuticals’ Board of Directors has approved plans for fund raising on March 23. The company will raise funds from issue of equity shares including convertible bonds or debentures through Qualified Institutional Placements (QIP). The share price will be in focus throughout a day.

d) PNC Infratech: PNC Infratech completed BOT project of Raebareli Highways, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. It successfully commissioned two laning Raebareli-Jaunpur project more than 3 months ahead of schedule. The share price will be in the focus.

e) Monsanto: Delhi High Court to hear Monsanto plea against seed price cap on March 23. The company joint venture between Mahyco Monsanto Biotech (MMB) against the agriculture ministry’s recent notification to cap Bt cotton seed prices. The stock will be in focused for the rest of the day.
