Overnight Digest - Five stocks to watch out on April 7

a) ABB India: ABB India and Welspun Energy have together installed about 700 MW of solar photovoltaic projects across several states in India like Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This includes a key project of 52 MW for Maharashtra State Generation Company at Baramati, which was the first ever PPP (public-private partnership) project in the industry, in the country.

b) Siemens: Siemens partners with NTPC to boost power generation in south India. NTPC has ordered 10 units of Generator Step up (GSU) transformers on Siemens.

c) Coal India: Helped by a record coal production by the world's largest coal miner Coal India (CIL) reduced its import bill of the dry fuel by more than Rs 28,000 crore in the last fiscal. 

d) Ashok Buildcon: Shares of Ashoka Buildcon slumped 20 per cent in trade on Wednesday after reports emerged that the company's Nasik office was raided by the Income Tax department on Tuesday.  The stock can witness some movement tomorrow after clarification from the company for the same.

e) Maruti Suzuki: Maruti Suzuki informed stock exchanges on Thursday that the automatic option will now be available on the Zeta variant of Baleno as well.
