Mid-day stock watch on April 7

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stocks' movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during rest half of the day.

a) Sadbhav Infrastructure Project: Sadbhav Infrastructure Project declared its toll revenue for last quarter of FY16. The company’s toll revenue increased by 30.18 per cent to Rs 202.09 crore in Q4FY16 as compared to same period in previous fiscal year. Its share price will be in focus for rest of the trading session.

b) Natco Pharma: Natco Pharma completed the transaction of sale of its SAVE MART PHARMACY store located in USA to CARE MART Inc. The agreement will provide the company furniture and fixtures, inventory, and above all goodwill.

c)Tata Power/ Adani Power: The share price of Tata Power and Adani power decreased by 9.07 per cent and 11.70 per cent on bourses after the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) has denied compensatory tariff for the Indonesian coal-based power plants. Both stocks will be in focus for the rest of the day.

d)Diamond Power Infrastructure: Kotak Mahindra Bank's, US subsidiary has picked up 3868606 equity shares aggregating to 6.8 per cent of paid up capital of the company, at Rs 23.65 per share. The share price of the company increased by 18.43 per cent and is trading at Rs 26.5 on an intraday basis. The stock will be in limelight for rest of the trading session.

e) SREI Infrastructure: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved American Tower Corporation’s acquisition of 50 per cent stake in Viom Network for Rs 5856.5 crore. SREI Infrastructure has stake of 18.5 per cent in the deal. The company will receive around Rs 3000 crore from the Viom sale.
