The Indian markets are in positive terrain today. In today’s rally all the sectors are trading in positive territory. Nifty is trading up by more than 124 points, an increase of 1.61 per cent at 7843; and Sensex is up by 407 points, an increase of 1.65 per cent at 25553.
The Indian markets are in positive terrain today. In today’s rally all the sectors are trading in positive territory. Nifty is trading up by more than 124 points, an increase of 1.61 per cent at 7843; and Sensex is up by 407 points, an increase of 1.65 per cent at 25553.
The advance-decline ratio showed the same trend, as most of the stocks are trading in green. 1686 scrips were trading in the positive territory; 740 scrips were in red; however, 122 stocks remained unchanged on the NSE.
Top Nifty Gainers: Mahindra and Mahindra is leading the gainers' list as it was trading up by close to 7 per cent followed by Hindalco and ICICI Bank which were up 5.65 and 5.20 per cent respectively.
Top Nifty Losers: GAIL is leading the losers' list down by around 1 per cent, followed by Infosys and Adani Ports which are down by 0.38 per cent and 0.11 per cent, respectively.
Considering sectorial divisions BSE Auto is leading the way with gain of 556 points, followed by Bankex which is trading up by 440 points. BSE Mid and Small Cap are trading up by 145 and 148 points, respectively.
Buzzer: - Tata Steel is buzzing in trade as it was trading up by more than 3.34 per cent quoting Rs 335.20.
