Mid-Day stock watch on April 18

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stocks' movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during rest half of the day.

a) NIIT: NIIT’s Diginxt, the new retail training brand, will help information technology service companies hire people with skills in digital technologies. It launched in Chennai on Monday. The share price of the company will be in focus for rest of the trading session.

b) Mindtree /TCS:  Mindtree and TCS will be declaring fourth quarterly and annual results on April 18. Both IT sector companies will be in limelight for rest of the day.

c) Oberoi Realty: Oberoi Realty may be  purchasing 3.5 lakh square feet space in Borivali. The share price of the company increased by 7.26 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 253.5 on an intraday basis.

d) ITC: ITC will resume cigarette manufacturing which was suspended at all its five cigarette factories saying there was a lack of clarity in policy regarding printing of larger pictorial warnings on the packets. The share price will be watched out today.

e) Alkem Laboratories: German Regulator has accused Alkem Laboratories of data fudge. The medicines are now being reviewed by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) on the recommendation of the German Regulator - Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. The share price will be in focus for rest of the trading session.
