Mid-Day stock watch on April 22

Hours since the markets opened today, after a careful observation of stocks' movements and analysis, we find these below mentioned five stocks worth watching during rest half of the day.

a) Cyient: Cyient declared its Q4FY16 results on April 21. The company’s net profit decreased by 26.81 per cent to Rs 65.47 crore in Q4FY16 on a yearly basis. Its topline declined by 11.75 per cent to Rs 816 crore in Q4FY16 as compared to the same period in previous fiscal year.

b) Tata Steel/Hindalco/SAIL:  Government hiked import duty on Aluminium to 7.5 per cent from 5 per cent. The Aluminium companies will remain in focus for rest of the trading session.

c) Aurobindo Pharma: Aurobindo Pharma received USFDA approval for Esomeprazole Magnesium Delayed-release capsules on Friday. The share price of the company will be in limelight for rest of the day.

d) Sanghi Industries: Piramal has invested Rs 257 crore in Sanghi Industries. The Company through its Structured Investment Group subscribed to non-convertible debentures of Sanghi Industries, and has enabled the company to term out its capital structure and repay its lenders ahead of schedule.

e) NMDC: The Government of India is going to disinvest 10 per cent paid up equity capital of face value of Rs 1 of NMDC. After divestment, government will have about 70 per cent equity stake in the Company. The share price of NMDC will be in focus for rest of the trading session.
