Overnight Digest – Stocks to look out for on May 4

The stocks which could see a significant movement on May 4 are DHFL, Jindal Steel, Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, CCL Products India Ltd.
a) DHFL: Dewan Housing Finance Limited, a leading housing finance company is expected to release its Q4FY16 results. With HDFC posting good numbers, it could be further interesting to see the results of DHFL as both are major competitors.
b) Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.: With the management allegedly framed in the Coal allocation case, the stock is in limelight already. Jindal Steel and Power is also expected to release its Q4FY16 results. Jindal Steel is currently down by 2.47 per cent.
c) Adani Ports: Adani Ports after the markets hours have declared their Q4FY16 results. With the numbers being good, Net Profit on a (QoQ) basis has seen a surge of around 38 per cent. The scrip is expected to open in green.
d) Bharti Airtel Ltd.: Bharti Airtel’s M - commerce services have informed the stock exchange that it will start its payment bank operation in the second quarter of the current year. The stock may see a movement on May 3.
e) CCL Product India Ltd: CCL Products (India) Limited, one of the largest instant coffee product makers, is planning to set up a green-field -freeze dried instant coffee manufacturing plant at an investment of $40 million (around Rs 265 crore) in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
