ITC & HDFC together dragging down the Sensex

ITC and HDFC two heavyweights in Sensex are cracking hard and have together contributed to 110 point in the Sensex fall at the time of filing this report. ITC has a weightage of 6.18 in the Sensex wile HDFC enjoys a weightage of 4.40. 

Sensex is down by almost 227 point at 2.30 pm, trading at 25,476. The concerns on BREXIT and US Fed rate hike are affecting the global equity markets and Indian markets alike with European markets trading in red on Thursday.

ITC and HDFC two heavyweights in Sensex are cracking hard and have together contributed to 110 point in the Sensex fall at the time of filing this report. ITC has a weightage of 6.18 in the Sensex while HDFC enjoys a weightage of 4.40. ITC is down by almost 2.55 percent, trading at 324; whereas HDFC is down by 2.75 percent, trading at 1176 per share. 

L&T, Reliance Industries,SBI, Axis Bank are the major losers pulling the index down; whereas Lupin and Tata Motors are supporting index from falling further. Lupin is up by 1 percent and Tata motors is up by 1.36 percent.
