Premier Explosives bags order worth Rs 72.95 crore

On June 13 Premier Explosives has received an order of Rs.72.95 crore for the supply of SMS/SME explosives, LCD explosives and accessories for use in blasting, for OB removal work at all the open cast projects of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for a period of 2 years i.e. from 2016 to 2018.

As per their financials Premier Explosives has registered a strong growth in revenue from operation, which has grown by 23.75 per cent Y-o-Y and their PAT has grown by 6.76 per cent Y-o-Y. Whereas Q4FY16 revenue has grown by 21.9 per cent and 9.11 per cent from Q3FY16 and Q4 FY15 respectively, and their PAT has registered an 83.78 per cent & 79.89 per cent growth in Q4FY16 against Q3FY16 and Q4FY15respectively.
Premier Explosives is trading up by 0.11 per cent and is currently trading at Rs 354 on Monday even as the broader market are trading weak owing to poor Indian market due to some global and domestic macroeconomic factors. Sensex is down by almost 246 points or 0.93 per cent at the time of filing this report.
In last one year the stock price has risen by 58.3 per cent and its 52 week high/low is 519/222. Currently the traded stock volumes are 17568, Beta of the stock with Sensex is 0.75, which indicates that the stock is less volatile as compared to BSE Sensex.
Premier Explosives is engaged in the business of manufacturing the entire range of explosives and accessories for civil requirement.These include emulsion and slurry explosives, LD cartridge explosives,bulk explosives, mall-dia non-permitted explosives, permitted explosives, cast boosters, pillow-packs for secondary blasting; detonating fuses of various core-loads, plain detonators, instantaneous electric detonators, electric delay detonators and permitted detonators.The company operates in two segments viz., explosives and wind power.
