RPG Life Sciences tie up with Italian firm

RPG Life Sciences has forayed into the cosmetic market. The company has entered into a technical collaboration with Italian cosmetic leader Labo Cospropher. It is in-licensing two research -based products to be launched in the Indian cosmetic market in the month of July.

RPG Life Sciences has created a separate division to market these unique products titled Crescina and Fillerina. Crescina is a research based global product designed for hair regrowth with nine patents worldwide. Fillerina is another breakthrough product designed for anti-aging treatment with Swiss patent. Fillerina is the first dermo-cosmetic filler for external use.

RPG Life Sciences recognise the need for research-based result-oriented treatments in hair-loss and anti-ageing segments in India. Labo has a Switzerland-based research centre and the experience of developing a wide range of patented products in hair, skin and body care. Their products have presence in over 33 countries including Europe, UK, US and Asia. The company is confident that both these products will be ideal to fill the need gap in respective therapies.

The share price of RPG Life Sciences has increased by 8.09 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 243.8 on an intraday basis.

RPG Life Sciences is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The company operates across segments ranging from global formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to global generics and biotech. It operates through four business units viz. API, Global Generics, Global Formulation and Biotech.
