Indices Volatile ahead of F&O expiry

Market gave a good positive opening to makes some tops the charts. Thereafter on the Asian sentiments in mid-noon session, market started to fall from 8630 levels and reached to 8572 levels, a fall of more than 50 points from highs. Finally, Nifty settled with 25 points gain in today’s trade at 8615 levels.

Market breadth for the Nifty Index has remains strong and the advance decline ratio ended on the positive side on today’s trading session. 32 stocks closed with green mark whereas, only 18 stocks closed in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Infratel was top gainer gain with 4.9% followed by ICICI Bank, ZEEL, Maruti and Adani Ports.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Dr Reddy was top looser with loss of 10.7% followed by Idea, ITC, Tata Steel and Reliance.
In today’s trading session most of the sector closed in green mark and bankex was top performer gaining by 192 points. While Healthcare closed on negative note down by 121 points.
The Asian markets were quoting in green; China’s Shanghai Composite climbed down by 59 points, Hong Kong’s Hang-Seng bounced by 89 point, while Japan’s Nikkei was up by 281 point.
European markets were also trading in green mark.
