RBL to launch IPO in this month

Ratnakar Bank Ltd., (RBL) , a fast growing private bank with pan India presence is expected to come up with an IPO in the secnd half of the August month this year. 

The bank has obtained clearance from Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)  on various contentious issues on shareholding that were flagged by SEBI , as per media reports. 

The private banks are doing well on the bourses and financials as a sector has attracted a lot of attention from mutual funds in India. This private bank IPO has a potential to attract several investors and the IPO may be easily oversubscribed if one looks at the investors' appetite for private banking stocks. 

RBL is a high growth private bank with its net profits haven reported at  Rs 296.8 crore , substantially higher than Rs 208.45 crore a year ago. The private bank has already raised funds from international investors including Asian Development Bank. 

2016 is a year where primary market is being supplied with some excellent investment options with several of the initial public offers doing very well post listing for e.g.,Ujjivan Financial Services and Equitas.
