Bulls in the lead; Hindalco Rallies 3.7%

The Indian markets continued with their positive momentum, with Auto and Oil & Gas being the key gainers. The Nifty ended 28 points up at 8711 and the Sensex ended 104 points up at 28182. The global scenario also looked positive today.
The Indian markets continued with their positive momentum, with Auto and Oil & Gas being the key gainers. The Nifty ended 28 points up at 8711 and the Sensex ended 104 points up at 28182. The global scenario also looked positive today.
The market breadth remained positive till closing hour, with 33 advances and 18 declines on the NSE.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Hindalco was top gainer with 3.6% gains, followed by BPCL, Adani Ports, Tata Power and Bosch Ltd.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Bharti Airtel was top loser with loss of 3.6%, followed by Idea, Infratel, NTPC and ITC.
In today’s trading session the entire sector closed on the green mark and Oil & Gas was top gainer by 164 points. Auto and Mid-Caps closed on positive note around 150 points each, followed by Bankex, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Capital Goods and Small-caps, which also closed in green territory.
The Asian markets were quoting in positive. Japan’s Nikkei was positive, and closed up by 396 points. Hong Kong’s Hang-Seng was up by 348 points, while China’s Shanghai Composite closed on the green mark.
European markets were also trading in positive scenario.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty future has given a bullish crossover as it closed above 8700 mark. By considering current scenario, index may see more tops, if it continues with momentum.
