Profit booking on higher side; Idea down by 10 %

The Indian markets witnessed some profit booking on the higher side in September 01,2016. The indices like Capital Goods and Oil & Gas were dragged down around 90 points each. The Nifty ended 28 points down at 28423 and the Sensex ended 11 points down at 8774.
The Indian markets witnessed some profit booking on the higher side in September 01,2016. The indices like Capital Goods and Oil & Gas were dragged down around 90 points each. The Nifty ended 28 points down at 28423 and the Sensex ended 11 points down at 8774.
The advance–decline ratio ended on the positive side in closing session. On the NSE, 27 shares closed in green, while 24 shares ended the day in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: GAIL was top gainer with 2.2% gains, followed by Lupin, M&M, HDFC and Ultratemco.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Idea was top loser with loss of 10.3% followed by Bharti Airtel, Reliance, BHEL and BPCL.
In today’s trading session the majority of the sectors closed on the red mark. Capital Goods and Oil & Gas were top losers, closing down by around 90 points each. While Mid-Caps and Small-Caps also closed on a negative note down by 50 points each. However Auto and Bankex managed to close in the positive territory.
The Asian markets were quoting in the mix. Japan’s Nikkei was positive, and closed up by 39 points. Hong Kong’s Hang-Seng was up by 185 points, while Taiwan and KOSPI closed on the negative mark.
European markets were trading in positive scenario.
Derivative Analysis
Till the nifty closes above 8550 mark, market will recover from lower levels.
