Bulls in the lead; Auto, Bankex rally

The Indian markets continued with the positive momentum, with Banks, Auto and Healthcare being the key gainers. The Nifty ended 35 points up at 8809 and the Sensex ended 108 points up at 28532. The global scenario also looked up today.
The Indian markets continued with the positive momentum, with Banks, Auto and Healthcare being the key gainers. The Nifty ended 35 points up at 8809 and the Sensex ended 108 points up at 28532. The global scenario also looked up today.
The advance-decline ratio ended in the positive today. On the NSE, 33 shares closed in green, while 16 shares ended the day in red.
Top 5 Nifty Gainers: Adani Ports was top gainer with 3.6% gains, followed by Bank of Baroda, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors(D) and Maruti Suzuki.
Top 5 Nifty Losers: Coal India was top loser with loss of 1.6%, followed by Reliance, ACC, Infosys and HUL.
In today’s trading session the majority of the sectors closed on the green mark. Auto and Bankex were top gainers, and closed up by 223 points and 125 points respectively. While Healthcare, Mid-caps and Small-caps also closed on a positive note. However Metal and IT managed to closed in negative territory.
The Asian markets were quoting in the mix. Japan’s Nikkei closed nominally in the negative. Hong Kong’s Hang-Seng was up by 104 points, while Taiwan and KOSPI closed on the positive mark.
European markets were also trading in positive scenario.

Till the nifty closes above 8800 mark, it indicates more positive move ahead.
