Infy hoists green flag amidst uncertainty

Amidst all the noise and volatility, Infosys has been able to stay in green. Infosys is trading at Rs 1044 per share, up by almost Rs 14 per share or 1.30 per cent. Interestingly the Nifty IT index is trading in the green when the broader markets are trading weak.

Even as markets trade down taking cues from global markets, Infosys is trading in green on Monday.

Very few Nifty stocks are trading green on an intraday basis at 9.30 a.m. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank , Tata Motors and L&T, all are down by more than 2 per cent in the morning session. Yes Bank is down by more than 4 per cent owing to the lack of clarity on the QIP issue.
