Act Now Or Get Lost!

People have lost patience and are very angry with the politicians. Indian government must attack terrorist camps in PoK and destroy them, otherwise this UPA government has no future
The barbarians have struck again. The band of desperadoes from across our western border have once again killed and maimed innocents. The chilling cold-bloodedness of their murderous outrage makes every right-thinking person go dumb and numb in grief. In the last four years, 4,000 lives have been lost in India alone due the acts of these barbarians from across the border.
But now enough is enough. We just cannot take it any longer. We cannot sit in silence as mute witnesses to the murders, mayhem and destruction done by these demented men and do nothing about it. The terrorist have struck at will time and again across the country, whether it is Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad or Ahmedabad. And they will strike again and spill the blood of the innocents.
Why is this happening to us? The reason is very obvious: India has become a soft state which makes it a soft target for the terrorists. The men who rule this land have been playing fiddle like Nero while the country burns. The Maharashtra Chief Minister has done in the last four years, except attending film parties and inauguration functions.
The total absence of any coherent policy and machinery to deal with this modern-day scourge has been our bane and has cost us heavily. We need stringent laws such as Prevention of Terrorist Act (POTA), which the UPA government repealed because it was seen to be against a particular community. One fails to understand why any anti-terror law should be deemed to be against any community. Such a mindset can be found only in India.
There is a crying need to upgrade our police and security forces so that they can put an end to terrorism ruthlessly. Our police have been fighting an unequal battle, pitching their outdated rifles and pistols against AK-47 and AK-56 of the terrorists. Yet the brave Mumbai police team felled the two ultras who hijacked police jeep and car. These are the unsung heroes who have saved many lives and done the Mumbai police force proud.
The intelligence agencies have failed again and some heads must roll for their unpardonable failure. Our politicians have been misusing these agencies and the police force for their partisan ends. This must stop forthwith and they should be given a free hand to do their job honestly. We should also enlist the services of capable police officers of the calibre of KPS Gill, who put an end to Khalistani terrorism with an iron hand.
Most importantly, India needs to send a strong message to Pakistan that we can no longer tolerate terrorism. Pakistan is a rogue state and has become a fountainhead of terrorism. We have overwhelming international support now, and if Pakistan refuses to mend its ways, we must use this support to launch surgical strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) and destroy them and end the proxy war once and for all. We have a right to defend ourselves like the US which attacked Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks and destroyed Al-Qaida.
This is the time for the UPA government to take decisive action against terrorism. If it launches attacks against terrorist camps in PoK and destroys them, Indians would view this as a commendable action and vote this government to power again. But if it does not act, it will be kicked out by the people and the parties in the UPA coalition would be decimated in the forthcoming elections.
The ruling class better deal with the menace of terrorism firmly or get lost. People have lost patience because politicians have failed them. Politicians have lost credibility and the day may not be too far when they would revolt against them. The General Elections are just about five months away and we must kick out Neroes and bring in honest men of action who could give us lasting peace and make a difference to our lives. “The world suffers a lot, not because of VIOLENCE of bad people, but because of SILENCE of good people.” This is applicable to all of us.
