Markets to open lower tracking Asian peers

SGX Nifty is trading with losses of 0.28 per cent to the levels of 8699. We expect markets to open lower, following rest of the major Asian peers.

The Indian markets witnessed a late sell off in the day by taking cues from its European peers on Tuesday, September 27. However, the market saw stock specific action throughout the trading session. Nifty successfully managed to close tad above the all-important level of 8700; whereas BSE Sensex closed above 28200 on September 27. Overall market breadth remained negative.

European markets recovered from their intra-day lows to close the session with minor losses led by an uptick in Deutsche Bank stock price from lower levels on September 27. Key benchmark indices closed with losses ranging from 0.15 to 0.31 per cent.

US stocks closed the day with some smart gains courtesy first presidential debate between Clinton and Trump. All the important benchmark indices closed with gains of 0.65 to 0.91 per cent led by Nasdaq Composite.

Asian markets are trading with mixed signals on Wednesday, September 28 with Japanese Yen hovering around its one-month high. Markets opened in green except for Nikkei and Hang Seng which were trading with losses. MSCI Asia Pacific and S&P ASX 200 index were trading with gains.
