CDC group to invest Rs 330 cr in RBL Bank

RBL Bank Ltd., a private lender has raised Rs 330 crore from UK-based CDC Group Plc according to the media reports. The private bank is the newly listed bank which raised Rs.1,211 crore in its initial public offer (IPO) in August.

The bank has raised capital to strengthen its capital base and this initiative will help company meet requirements and comply with guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India. CDC has previously invested Rs 174 crore in the company in March 2014 and Rs 44.5 crore in October 2015.

The stock is up by almost 1.7 per cent at 304 per share at 9.20 a.m on Wednesday. The stock got listed at Rs 276 per share. Sensex is trading in green on Wednesday at 28245 levels or 14 points up.
