The numbers for August IIP index are out and the numbers are largely disappointing. August index of industrial production (IIP) has come in at -0.7 percent as against -2.5 month-on-month (MoM).
The numbers for August IIP index are out and the numbers are largely disappointing. August index of industrial production (IIP) has come in at -0.7 percent as against -2.5 month-on-month (MoM). According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation media release, the cumulative growth for the period April-August 2016 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at (-) 0.3 percent.On the other hand, the markets may see some pressure in the opening session on October 13.
