These sectoral indices corrected the most on Thursday

Even as Sensex traded at its six week low on Thursday, various sectoral indices crashed heavily at the end of trading session. The biggest loser was the S&P BSE Finance which cracked by almost 2.26 per cent followed by S&P BSE Realty index, which was down by 2.37 per cent.

The biggest loser was the S&P BSE Finance which cracked by almost 2.26 per cent followed by S&P BSE Realty index, which was down by 2.37 per cent. Other sectoral indices that were down by more than 2 per cent are BSE Industrials, BSE Telecom , BSE Utilities and BSE Bankex.

Interestingly BSE Oil & Gas was down only by 0.81 per cent; whereas the BSE Information Technology was up by almost 0.15 per cent.

Investors can use this correction to enter the sector that is identified good for investment and create some opportunities for outperformance in medium to long term.
