Nifty ends on crucial support around 8500

The Indian markets have been witnessing continuous profit booking trade till closing session. Today, the most affected were the stocks of Auto and Capital Goods, as they witnessed selling. Having fallen by 143 points, the Sensex closed the day at 27529.The Nifty ended the day lower by 63 points at 8520.

The market breadth ended on a negative note at the end of the day. On the NSE, 7 shares closed in the green, while 44 shares ended the day in red.
Majority of the sectoral indices closed in the negative in today’s session. Auto and Capital Goods were the top losers, down by 478 points and 219 points, respectively. While Mid-Caps and Small-Caps were down by around 127 points and 68 points respectively. Healthcare and Metals also closed in negative territory. However Bankex closed in positive territory, up by 109 points.
In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed up by 43. The Hang Seng index ended down by 195 points. While the Taiwan and KOSPI also ended on a negative note.
European markets were also trading in negative scenario.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty future closed at vital support at 8520 level. Going ahead 8460/8440 will be immediate supports.
