Adani Power (APL) has declared its Q2FY17 results. The company’s revenue has remained flat at Rs 5870 crore in Q2FY17 against Rs 5784 crore in Q2FY16.
Adani Power (APL) has declared its Q2FY17 results. The company’s revenue has remained flat at Rs 5870 crore in Q2FY17 against Rs 5784 crore in Q2FY16. It has sold 15.04 billion units in Q2FY17 while 15.1 billion units in Q2FY16. APL’s EBITDA has risen by 5 per cent to Rs 1915 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to same period in previous financial year. The company’s net loss has narrowed down to Rs 114 crore in Q2FY17 against Rs 411 crore in Q2FY16.
APL’s overall plant availability during Q2FY17 was at 92 per cent against 85 per cent in Q2FY16, reflecting operating performance at all plants.
On the half yearly front, APL’s top line has declined by 2.84 per cent to Rs 11364 crore in H1FY17 as compared to same period in previous financial year. The company’s EBITDA has increased by 10.83 per cent to Rs 3746 crore in H1FY17 on a yearly basis. Its net loss has reduced to Rs 148 crore in H1FY17 while net loss of Rs 583 crore in H1FY16.
The share price of APL has reduced by 2.17 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 27.3 on an intraday basis.
