The Indian markets witnessed some profit booking on closing buzz. The sectoral indices like Consumer Durables, Banks and Healthcare closed in red territory.
The Indian markets witnessed some profit booking on closing buzz. The sectoral indices like Consumer Durables, Banks and Healthcare closed in red territory. While Metal index provide good support to pull the benchmarks. The Sensex ended 53 points lower at 27876 and Nifty ended on neutral mood at 8626.
The advance-decline ratio ended positive in the closing session. On the NSE, 27 shares closed in green, while 24 shares ended the day in red.
Banks, Consumer Durables and Healthcare sectoral indices closed in the negative in today’s session, down more than 100 points each. Mid-caps and Small-caps also closed on a lower note. While Metals and Auto were up by around 345 points and 89 points respectively.
In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed up by 17 points. The Hang Seng index ended up by 212 points. While the Taiwan and KOSPI ended on a negative note.
European markets were also trading in mixed scenario.
