Sonata Software’s top line drops in Q2FY17

Sonata Software has declared its Q2FY17 results on Wednesday after market hours. The company’s revenue has decreased by 23 per cent to Rs 523 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to the previous quarter.
Sonata Software has declared its Q2FY17 results on Wednesday after market hours. The company’s revenue has decreased by 23 per cent to Rs 523 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to the previous quarter. Its EBITDA has increased by 1 per cent to Rs 59 crore in Q2FY17 on a quarterly basis. Sonata Software’s PAT has risen by 3 per cent to Rs 37.8 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to the previous quarter.
On the segmental revenue front, Sonata Software has earned 40.02 per cent from International IT Services and 59.98 per cent from Domestic – Products and Services in Q2FY17.
On the half yearly front, Sonata Software’s top line has increased by 37 per cent to Rs 1200 crore in H1FY17 on a yearly basis. The company’s EBITDA has risen by 3 per cent to Rs 117.4 crore in H1FY17 as compared to same period in previous fiscal. However, its PAT has declined by 4 per cent to Rs 74.6 crore in H1FY17 on a yearly basis.
The share price of Sonata Software has reduced by 1.07 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 153.7 on an intraday basis.
