Credit Analysis and Research Ltd’s Q2FY17 numbers have come in as a mixed bag in comparison with estimates. Revenue has come in 5.5%  above the street estimate of Rs 85.7 cr. EBITDA margin is greater by 760 bps from the estimate of 66.3%. Net profit is 4.7% above the estimate of Rs 41 cr.

This quarter's revenue has  surged 3.6 % yoy to Rs 81 cr.

CARE's reported EBITDA has slightly risen by 7.4% yoy to Rs 60 cr while EBITDA margins have increased by 260 bps yoy to 73.8%. This was majorly driven by 13.8% yoy reduction in other expenses.

The company's net profit has  jumped 14% yoy to Rs 43.20 cr majorly owing to 156% yoy increase in other income.
