Consolidated Results Q2FY17:
Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd.’s consolidated Q2FY17 have come in as a mixed bag compared to street estimates. Revenue has come in 2.8% lesser than the estimate of Rs 10628 cr. EBITDA has come in largely in conjuction with estimate of Rs 1010 cr. Net profit is 30.5% greater than the estimated figure of Rs 368 cr.
The quarter's revenue has surged 14.3% yoy to Rs 10332.59 cr. This anchored by strong performance across all three segment: MSSL, SMR and SMP.
The EBITDA soared by 14.6% yoy to Rs 1006.75 cr with EBITDA margins largely remaining stable yoy at 9.7%.
Net profit climbed by 26.2% yoy to Rs 479.85 cr. This was driven by 6.4% yoy decline in finance cost.
