Petronet LNG emerges top gainer on outstanding results

Petronet LNG, the largest importer of liquid gas, has come out as the stock of November 18 trading. The stock emerged as the top gainer amongst BSE 500 stocks.
Petronet LNG, the largest importer of liquid gas, has come out as the stock of November 18 trading. The stock emerged as the top gainer amongst BSE 500 stocks. The shares of the company, which previously closed at Rs 347.35, have opened 6 per cent higher. The shares of Petronet LNG as on 10.25 a.m. are trading at Rs 367.85, up by 5.90 per cent.
The results of the company are marvellous. For the first time, the company has reported 82 per cent surge in its net profit which stood at Rs 459.56 crore for July-September quarter. Its PBIDT stood at Rs 640 crore, an increase of 66 per cent as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
