Indices shine ahead of F&O expiry

The Indian markets not only opened on a positive note, but have also ended up with good volumes. However the benchmarks were volatile after mid-session but again they closed near day highs.The Nifty ended with gain by 31 points at 8033; and Sensex was up by 91 points at 26051.
The Indian markets not only opened on a positive note, but have also ended up with good volumes. However the benchmarks were volatile after mid-session but again they closed near day highs. Indices like Healthcare, Mid-caps and Small-caps witnessed massive recovery from the lower ends. The Nifty ended with gain by 31 points at 8033; and Sensex was up by 91 points at 26051.
The advance-decline ratio ended on the positive side in the closing session. On the NSE, 37 shares closed in green, while 14 shares ended the day in red.
The Healthcare index witnessed massive recovery and ended up by 330 points, followed by Capital Goods, Consumer Durables, Mid-caps and Small-caps, which were up more than 100 points each. Auto and IT also closed on a positive note.
In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed up by 56 points. The Hang Seng index ended down by 1 point. While the Taiwan and KOSPI ended on a positive note.
European markets were also trading in mixed scenario.

The level of 8000 mark for the Nifty future will be the pivot level for further move.
