The Indian markets witnessed trading in a tight range during the mid-market session. The same scenario was seen in the global segment, wherein all the Asian markets were seen trading on a positive note. The Nifty is trading up by 22 points at 8165; and the Sensex is up by 53 points at 26447.

The advance-decline ratio is on the positive side. On the NSE, 1391 shares are in the green and 966 shares are in the red.
