Reconstitution of S&P BSE Indices

In a notice issued post market hours on Friday, December 9, India’s oldest stock exchange BSE informed of reconstitution of S&P BSE Indices, effective at the open of trade on Monday, December 19, 2016
 
Below are the changes which would be made to the individual indices:
 
S&P BSE AUTO:
Amara Raja Batteries would be replaced by Exide Industries.
 
S&P BSE CONSUMER DURABLES:
Johnson Controls -Hitachi Air Conditioning India will be replaced by Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals.
 
S&P BSE CAPITAL GOODS:
Praj Industries and Texmaco Rail & Engineering will be replaced by Carborundum Universal, NBCC (India) and V-Guard Industries.

S&P BSE POWER:
GE T&D India will be removed from the index.

S&P BSE REALTY:
NBCC (India) will be removed from the index.

S&P BSE PSU:
HMT would be replaced by IFCI.

S&P BSE GREENEX:
Titan Co., will be replaced by Hindalco Industries.

S&P BSE Telecom:
Sterlite Technologies will be added to the index.

S&P BSE IPO:
Adlabs Entertainment, Inox Wind, VRL Logistics, MEP Infrastructure Developers, UFO Moviez India, PNC Infratech, Manpasand Beverages, Syngene International, Power Mech Projects, Navkar Corporation, Pennar Engineered Building Systems, Sadbhav Infrastructure Project, Prabhat Dairy, Coffee Day Enterprises, InterGlobe Aviation, SH Kelkar & Company all will be dropped from the index.

There will be no changes in the S&P BSE METAL and S&P BSE CPSE index.
