Reliance Infrastructure InvIT Fund (RInfra InvIT) will be raising Rs 3000 crores with a green shoe option to retain over 25 per cent of the over subscription. The company has filed for a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In a bid to fast track infrastructure development in India, the government has taken several initiatives to promote the industry, including measures to promote alternate means for long term-term infrastructure financing.
Reliance Infrastructure is the parent sponsor for RInfra InvIT. RInfra Inv IT will be owning 10 toll road assets of Reliance Infrastructure connecting major urban centres. The company has an option of acquiring further assets in future. The assets extend to around 770 kms covering 5 states.
Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management will be the investment manager to the InvIT Fund. The book running lead manager for the issue will be SBI Capital Markets and Yes Securities.
