India's numero uno bourse National Stock Exchange is likely to start this week the interview process for selecting its managing director and CEO. Over 90 people have applied for the position, which fell vacant after the sudden resignation of Chitra Ramkrishna last December.
According to sources, rival BSE's former MD & CEO Madhu Kannan and commodity exchange MCX's MD and CEO, Mrugank Paranjpe, are the top contenders for the post.
A panel of four members has been set up for selecting the right candidate. In the interim, senior executive J Ravichandran has been given the charge.
