Kalpataru Power Transmission bags orders worth Rs 828 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has received orders amounting to Rs 828 crore. The company has bagged an order for Rs 440 crore for various transmission lines and substation projects in Africa and CIS region.
Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has received orders amounting to Rs 828 crore. The company has bagged an order for Rs 440 crore for various transmission lines and substation projects in Africa and CIS region. KPTL has won Rs 277 crore order for two pipeline projects from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) and GAIL. Lastly, the company will be working on railway projects by CORE for Rs 111 crore.
KPTL’s management is confident enough of getting repeat orders from the African region. The company has built strong order book of pipeline and railways business. It has order book of Rs 9400 crore as on September 30, 2016. Considering KPTL’s order inflows during the year till date and current L1 position, the company is expecting to close year with a healthy order book.
The share price of the company declined 2.63 per cent and closed at Rs 265.05. The stock has given return of 11.74 per cent in the last one month to shareholders. The company’s share price has surged more than 38.84 per cent in the last one year.
