Q3FY17 results: Welspun India Ltd.

Welspun India Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.Total sales for this quarter, Q3FY17, came in at Rs 1,500.9 crore. This represents a 16.15 per cent sequential decline and 3.86 per cent YoY increase.

Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs 836.86 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 55.76 per cent.

In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs 132.4 crore which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 33.77 per cent and a YoY decline of 25.74 per cent.

The company's stock which opened for trading at Rs 76 on the BSE, has closed at Rs 76.20 mark marginally up by 0.57 per cent.
