Finolex Industries Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 today. The standalone numbers posted were strong and exceeded expectationsThe company's total sales for Q3FY17 were Rs 576.5 crore, which represent a 26.2 per cent sequential increase and 5.36 per cent YoY increase.

The company's total sales for Q3FY17 were Rs 576.5 crore, which represent a 26.2 per cent sequential increase and 5.36 per cent YoY increase.
Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter was Rs 115.68 crore and its EBIT margin was 20.07 per cent.
The company reported PAT of Rs 71.94 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 40.21 per cent and a YoY increase of 69.55 per cent.
Finolex Industries Limited (FIL) is an Indian company engaged in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes. The company operates in three segments, viz. PVC and PVC pipes and fittings and power. FIL's range of PVC pipes and fittings are used for diverse applications in agriculture, housing, telecom, industry, etc., ranging in diametre between 20 mm to 400 mm. FIL also manufactures specialty pipes and fittings, namely SWR (soil, waste and rain water) as well as ASTM pipes and fittings for the construction industry.
